Bamboo fencing is a decorative and environmentally friendly alternative to chain link or wood. Because bamboo grows so quickly, the production of many bamboo products, including bamboo shades, is ecologically friendly. If you are looking to cover a larger window, or using bamboo shades for different purposes, you can find higher quality or larger size shades. Bamboo shades are quite versatile and can be found hanging in open doorways, and being used as room dividers. There is no need to buy special cleaning brushes or cleansing agents to clean bamboo shades. Although using bamboo shades are nothing new, hundreds of styles, and patterns have become available as their popularity has increased.

These include pop up gazebos, garden gazebos, wooden gazebos, cheap gazebos, waterproof gazebos, steel gazebos, and metal gazebos. Decorative varieties come in such styles as bead board, finished panels, wood grain, lionite, wainscot, plank panels and project panels. Bead board panels add visual interest and are a great selection to use as an accent.

Some are constructed completely out of bamboo and others are designed with wooden frames. An example of what is available is; partial and/or full privacy fences, low garden edging, the traditional Japanese fencing panel, and rolled fence panels for flexibility. In fact it only takes 5 to 7 years to grow a mature bamboo plant for harvesting whereas wood takes 50 to 100 years.

Bamboo decking hasn't been manufactured for that long, so it has very little standards and it's hard to say how it will age in the long run. After a long day at work, it will feel good to walk into your home and see how beautiful your new bamboo wall slats look. No home improvement project is complete without the addition of bamboo wall slats. The other plus to installing bamboo wall slats lies in their durability and lack of continuous upkeep. A calm, peaceful environment can be achieved by simply installing bamboo wall slats.

Malaysia has about 70 species of bamboo: 50 in Peninsular Malaysia, 30 in Sabah and 20 in Sarawak (Wong 1989). This is proposal project for a Bamboo Garden in Malaysia, made specially for the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementerian Pertanian dan Asas Tani Malaysia) for consideration and approval to make a new kind of agro-tourism in the state of Negeri Selangor and Negeri Sembilan respectively.
